This page explains what information arijitcapital.com collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google and store them to create your member account. When you join the mentorship waitlist or the email newsletter we store the details you type (name, email, optional phone, experience level). If you use the Trading Journal while signed in, your entries are stored against your account. If you vote in the community poll without signing in, we store a one-way hash of your IP address for that day only, to allow one vote per person.
What we do not collect
We never see or store your Google password, your bank, card or UPI details (payments, when enabled, are handled by Razorpay) or your brokerage credentials. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
How we use your data
To sign you in and keep your session, to show member-only community links, to send a welcome email, waitlist confirmation, the weekly market lesson (if you subscribed) and God Eye extreme-sentiment alerts (which you can switch off on the Members page), to answer your enquiries and to keep the website secure (rate-limiting, abuse prevention).
Ask Arijit AI
Messages you send to Ask Arijit AI, and its replies, are stored against your account so you can continue past conversations. They are processed by a third-party AI model provider to generate answers. Do not share passwords, account numbers or other sensitive personal information in the chat.
Cookies and analytics
We use one essential cookie (session_token) to keep you signed in. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited; GA4 may set its own cookies and collects anonymised usage data under Google's privacy policy. Instagram embeds on this site may set cookies from Meta when they load.
Third-party services
Google (sign-in, analytics), Emergent (hosting, email delivery, AI access), Razorpay (payments, when enabled), Yahoo Finance, NSE/BSE, CoinGecko, Forex Factory and news publishers (market data), Instagram/Meta (embedded reels). Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
Retention
Member accounts, journal entries and chat history are kept while your account is active. Waitlist and newsletter entries are kept until you ask us to remove them. Sessions expire after 7 days. Poll IP hashes are tied to a single date and are not reused.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to unsubscribe from the newsletter or alerts, or to delete your member account. Email info@arijitcapital.com from the address you used and we will act within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
