Eight signals · one weighted scoreThe God Eye turns eight live measurements into a single 0–100 reading. Every signal is first converted to its own 0–100 score (0 = extreme fear, 100 = extreme greed), then the eight scores are blended using fixed weights. Nothing here is a trade signal — it is a thermometer for the market's mood.
What it measures. The NSE volatility index — how much movement option prices expect in Nifty over the next 30 days.
How it is scored. Lower VIX scores higher (calm = greed-ish). Score = 100 − (VIX − 10) × 5, clamped 0–100. So VIX 10 → 100, VIX 20 → 50, VIX 30 → 0.
What it measures. Where Nifty 50 sits versus its 20-, 50- and 200-day moving averages.
How it is scored. Starts at 50. +10 if above the 20-DMA (else −10), +15 for the 50-DMA, +25 for the 200-DMA. All three above = 100; all three below = 0.
What it measures. How many of the 50 Nifty stocks rose versus fell today.
How it is scored. Score = advancers ÷ (advancers + decliners) × 100. 40 up / 10 down = 80; 25 / 25 = 50.
What it measures. Count of Nifty 50 stocks within 3% of a 52-week high versus within 5% of a 52-week low.
How it is scored. Score = 50 + (highs − lows) ÷ (highs + lows) × 50. All highs = 100, all lows = 0, none of either = 50.
What it measures. Nifty 50's percentage change over the last five sessions.
How it is scored. Score = 50 + (5-day % change × 10). +2% → 70, −3% → 20, flat → 50.
What it measures. Average daily move of major world indices (US, Europe, Asia) from the live overview.
How it is scored. Score = 50 + (average % change × 20). A +1% global day → 70; −1% → 30.
What it measures. Today's percentage change in gold. Money rushing into gold often signals fear.
How it is scored. Score = 50 − (gold % change × 15). Gold +2% → 20 (fear); gold −1% → 65.
What it measures. Average 24-hour change of Bitcoin, Ethereum and other majors — a proxy for speculative appetite.
How it is scored. Score = 50 + (average 24h % × 5). Crypto +4% → 70; −6% → 20.
Score = 0.20×VIX + 0.20×Trend + 0.20×Breadth + 0.10×Highs/Lows + 0.10×Momentum + 0.10×Global + 0.05×Gold + 0.05×CryptoRecomputed every 10 minutes from Yahoo Finance (≈15 min delayed) and CoinGecko data. Volatility, trend and breadth carry the most weight because they describe the Indian market directly; gold and crypto are small cross-checks. The daily reading is stored so you can see a 30-day mood history above.
Extreme fear often means risk is already priced in; extreme greed means caution. Neither tells you what to buy. Use the Observer to size down when volatility is high, stay patient when breadth is weak, and journal how your own mood matched the market's.
